It is ¾ in. thick product and designed to sit flush on this sized hardwood floors. We also accept custom made orders to your specific thickness. With a wooden box built in the floor around the duct opening upon floor installation, the vent will drop in place. The vent is held in the box by magnets, making it easy to remove when needed. It’s a very simple process which avoids having to router or cut your flooring after it has been installed. With a ¼ in. thick solid oak wood, we are making it easier to resurface the floors in the future. You don’t have to remove vents or buy new ones.
