3-cone air diffuser is for T-Bar, Drop Down, Lay in ceilings. 2-1/2 in. high grooved collar makes installation easier and faster. Optional damper sits in the groove. R6 insulation with vapor barrier reduces condensation. It does not have a collar and needs a start or tab collar to connect the diffuser to the duct. The collar can be from 4 in. to 14 in. diameter.

Distance between the cones is adjustable and works well with variable air flow patterns
For collar installation, you start by cutting appropriate size hole in the collar and choosing the start collar that will fit the size of hole; A 7 in. start collar will need 7 in. hole; start by bending every other tab on a start collar 90°; insert the remaining straight tabs into the hole that you cut and then bend the straight tabs 90° to the inside of the hole to hold the collar in place; we recommend using duct tape to seal around the connection from the start collar to the diffuser
